MIAMI-DADE COUNTY
Miami Film Office represents the City of Miami Office of Film & Entertainment. Our site is a one-stop web site for permitting, government liaison, production information and referral sources.Our mission is to provide service and assistance to all film, television, music, commercial production and still photography businesses to promote industry expansion and economic prosperity.
BROWARD COUNTY
In Broward County, film permits are required for production projects on public property. Depending upon the scope of the project, specific permits may be necessary, such as tent, pyrotechnic, firearm, or environmental. The following list outlines the requirements needed to secure a film permit for most of the governmental interests in Broward County.
PALM BEACH COUNTY
The Film & Television Commission is the official County agency to issue permits for filming on public property and offers free one-stop permitting for over 50 municipalities, taxing districts, county departments and other community entities within Palm Beach County.

CITY OF MIAMI
There is NO FILM PERMIT FEE when filming within The City of Miami unless filming with a drone ($100 application fee). However, there may be fees that may be incurred when your activities require specific City services, such as Fire and Police. In order to obtain a permit to film in the City of Miami, you will need:

UAS (DRONES)

Applications must be submitted 14 days prior to requested usage time of UAS to ensure proper review of the application by City officials

A film permit must first be submitted prior to the UAS Drone Application

Flying UAS in and around stadiums is prohibited starting one hour before and ending one hour after the scheduled time of any of the following events:
• Major League Baseball
• Major League Football
• NCAA Division I Football
• Nascar Sprint Cup, Indy Car, and Champ Series races
Specifically, UAS operations are prohibited within a radius of three nautical miles of the stadium or venue.
