MYLINGS is a linear VR horror experience with documentary elements, inspired by an old
Scandinavian folktale. Combining tense, frightening moments with a profound and timely
message of female empowerment, it offers a unique blend of chills and meaningful
storytelling.

INVR.SPACE:
As a multi-award-winning creative XR content studio, INVR uses the most innovative
storytelling and technical approaches to captivate users with XR worlds. INVR specializess in
immersive productions that cross social and cultural boundaries, often collaborating with
international partners.
With MYLINGS, INVR received funding by the Hamburg MOIN Film Fund for development
and is eager to further produce the feminist and folklore-inspired immersive Experience.

Uta Arning is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with a passion for genre storytelling across live-action, documentary, and VR. An NYU Tisch MFA graduate, her multicultural background informs her unique global perspective. Her debut feature, filmed in Japan, competed at the Max Ophüls Film Festival, screened at Cannes, and won at the Moscow International Film Festival. Uta’s recent work includes a VR horror backed by the
Hamburg MOIN Film Fund, a Swedish Film Institute-supported comedy feature, and two TV series featuring Isabelle Grill (Midsommar) and John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings).
