Liquidverse: Microcosm & Macrocosm

LiquidVerse+Hero.jpg

Flow beyond the symphony on this beautiful voyage. LIQUIDVERSE: Microcosm and Macrocosm, an immersive audiovisual symphony by artist and composer Ricardo Romaneiro and presented by Cosm Studios, delves into the profound interconnectedness of scale from the microscopic to the cosmic. Witness a captivating journey where visuals, intricately crafted using liquid oils and chemical reactions captured on a petri dish, come to life, unveiling the hidden beauty and complexity of the universe and beyond. Created in collaboration with Liquid Light Lab and Metropolis Ensemble.

Director: Ricardo Romaneiro

The Vivid Unknown

Untitled-1.png

An interactive installation by John Fitzgerald that reimagines the 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi through the eyes of a generative AI model trained on filmmaker Godfrey Reggio’s archives. As visitors move within the space, real-time computer vision tracks their presence and movements, reshaping the narrative as they explore the violent nexus of nature, humans, and technology.

Director: John Fitzgerald

Earths to Come

Earths to Come is an enveloping work that draws inspiration from a small Emily Dickinson poem that holds many dualities: vastness and insularity, public and private, doubt and assurance, longing and desire. The piece is a collaboration between expanded cinema director, Rose Bond, Grammy winning vocal band Roomful of Teeth, lauded composer inti figgis-vizueta, spatial sound designer Massimiliano 'Max' Borghesi, composite artist Zak Margolis and creative producer Melanie Coombs - each pushing at the edges of their prescribed mediums.

In a dystopian world where social media clout determines fate, Jrue, a young content creator from the trenches of Caplanta, must rise through a treacherous hierarchy of fame and power to save his ailing mother, confront his estranged royal father, and challenge the oppressive system that values influence over authenticity.

Director: King Willonius

89 Birds

The 89 Birds project is designed to be presented preferably inside a dome. The music , sonic elements and visuals are performed live—     distributed throughout the space in an all-encompassing manner with a multi-channel system. This is supported by uniquely crafted independent visuals that conceptually accompany each piece of music.

They range from a tribute to the planet to concern for the eco-destruction we are experiencing, told through the perspective of a voice of alarm that leads to hope. Each presentation becomes a totally immersive and sensorial experience in which the viewer makes the message that we are transmitting their own.

Director: Felipe Valencia & Gabriel Lopera
VJ: Felipe Aguilar
